Hey there, Kristy here, your storyteller from @Doitwithlove, now before I get started, I have been super quiet for the past week, but I make no apologies for that. The past week has had my focus on other, more important things
like celebrating my beautiful wife, our connection, and the fun that comes from making time to enjoy each other.
This past week marks a milestone for our relationship - two years of wedded bliss with my amazing wife, Shi. As I sit down to reflect, I can't help but be super proud of the journey we've been on together – 16 years of love, chaos, and the kind of connection that feels like coming home.
It feels like yesterday when we were wild, energetic sparks, navigating life like a couple of loose cannons. As Eminem and Rihanna once said, we collided like a tornado meeting a volcano. Our love story was fiery, untamed, and unapologetically chaotic. Fast forward to today, and the chaos has settled into a powerful force – a love that's both strong and in sync.
My love, Shi, is the definition of a 'golden retriever' partner. Her loyalty, warmth, and strength are admirable. We have weathered storms and danced in the sunshine together, and for that, I am grateful. Whether it's through life's highs or lows, she is there, a steady and comforting presence. And to be honest, as long as I keep those head rubs coming and serve up some good food, we're golden!
So, here's to two years of love, laughter, and endless adventures with my rock, Shi. To the winding dirt tracks, the crackling campfires, and seeing what the future holds for us.
Now, let's talk about weddings, but not your usual garden party or beach celebration. How about an outback dream in the heart of NSW/ACT, Australia?
Picture this: Instead of the standard 'I do' spots, envision a camping/glamping getaway.
Now, hear me out, a convoy of your nearest and dearest hitting the dirt tracks to a secluded forest spot by a lake.
As night falls, under a blanket of stars and the warm glow of a campfire, you exchange vows. No noise complaints here – just the crackling of burning leaves, music pumping through the trees, and the sound of laughter that echoes well into the night.
You wake up to the crisp morning air, throw a line in, and sizzle some bacon and eggs on the barbie. It's the kind of celebration that feels like an adventure, and an escape from the ordinary. If you’re keen for an Aussie adventure off the beaten track, and looking for that perfect celebrant to hike through the wilderness with you, wink wink, you’re in the right place!
